Las Vegas, NV – Today, the Vegas Chamber announces its first round of endorsements for the Nevada State Senate.

The endorsements are based on each candidate’s voting record on the Chamber’s priority bills (if incumbents), stated positions on policies important to small businesses, understanding of issues impacting employers and the regional economy, as well as their willingness to work with the Vegas Chamber and the business community on a variety of issues.

“Nevada’s economy is driven by a pro-business environment that enables entrepreneurs and employers to create jobs, grow, and thrive.  It is essential that we elect lawmakers who are committed to working with the business community to preserve our business-friendly climate that creates prosperity,” says Hugh Anderson, Chairman of the Vegas Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee.  “These candidates for State Senate have demonstrated their commitment to supporting small businesses and employers, and opposing proposals that would impede economic growth and job creation.”
